Love Letters to the Land

Love Letters to the Land is a new textile project developed through a series of embroidery workshops across the Northern Rivers.

The project invites people to reflect on the places, plants, rivers and landscapes they love, and how we can care for them in a changing climate.

Three workshops have now been delivered in Brooklet, Lismore and Byron Bay, where participants were guided through simple stitching techniques to create a small stitched love letter to the land. Each piece will contribute to a larger textile artwork by Liv, bringing together individual reflections on place, care and connection across the region.

Stay tuned for details on the final event coming at the end of November exhibiting the finished work.
